I think you would be a fool to fix it for him. what if you break more than you fix? are you going to cover that to?
Stop letting yourself get taken advantage of.
If you where a on a "good" streak I'd say go for it, but from your "head deck" install that went south on ya and almost cost ya like 200$, to this where your did or almost have lost 600$. No more being a nice guy get the guy to pay your cash, then worry about impound second he already seems unreliable have him pay you, then take the car back and sell it outright you have 120$ so far so if u wanted like 600$ in total take 120$ off that now.. Get your **** in gear.
Actually so far I've got $210 out of him....
Thats about what I put into the car to be honest...except for time of course....
I'm almost tempted to just say "screw it" and leave it go...I dont have time for this really, but at the same time I'm sick of being walked over...
We will see what happens in the next day or so...

I just phoned the impound lot and confirmed the car is really there....It'll cost $150 to get it out...
I'm thinking if he doesnt come up with the cash quick, either just say screw it or small claims...is not worth me taking the thing back...$150 to get it out...PLUS he says the motor puked,so if thats true I would be looking at $XXXX to get it saleable again...
How do I get myself into these things???
