I just heard the wierdist thing. in American Beauty DVD at about 20:00 when Angela and Janie are talking the car there is a song playing in the backround that I never heard until I watched it with DTS. It's "Use Me" from the current IASCA disk, i think it's number six. Someone else should try this, I think it's cool. Any explanation for this????

Um,
Wouldn't the IASCA disk use basically any music? Or do they make their own specifically for the disk?

I would assume that perhaps the song is simply a cover, or something?

Though, I am wholly unfamiliar with the IASCA disc, overall.

Someone want to share with me and others, what songs are on that disc?

Thanks.

I was wrong. It must be the 1999 disc. Cause I just played the 2002-current disc, and it's not there. I listen to 1999 IASCA alot, and I know it's there. It wasn't a cover, sounds exactly the same. I always thought those discs only consisted of material from Sheffield labs. And I thought they only produced audiophile stuff that "normal" people just don't listen to, especially not 2 16 girls.

Hmmm. I've always thought sheffield did all those tracks because no one else makes recordings that are the style and quality IASCA wants for the competition disc. The newest IASCA disc has some better music, but isn't anything close to as good as 95, or 99.

I seem to recall hearing the tune as well - many of the "audiophile" recordings are covers of older tunes , etc.

I'm too lazy to dig through the IASCA discs and see who performed the tune on there.
