You got that right, we changed them for our 3 best customers, Tom, Dick, and Harry..........come on man........get serious......how do the rules help only our customers win ??

The rules were designed to be quick and simple and free of BS. They aren't designed for the hardcore SPLers, you have DBDrags and IDBL for that. It is great when you guys show up, but you aren't the audience that we are targeting.

We want the kid with a premade box to win the trophies, that way they become hardcore SPLers like you guys. That way all retailers benefit from it........

Keep one thing in mind.......these are simple rules for simple shows........if FS has to deal with to much crap or negative publicity about it they might not bother do continue the House Of Boom program........

That hasn't been decided for sure yet. If we do it again, it will be better then ever.

hey personally i think seeing all those people at the kelowna show and the one in richmond, is what it's all about. I had a great time and all us competitors enjoyed it. The tv news was there to cover the last show and some of us were on tv. can't beat that for the fun in the sun we all had. dam bigass trophies too

No the bashing the promoter of 2002's shows is over.

The future shop house of boom shows were great the first year, and after that went to sh*t. I really enjoyed the 6 foot trophy I won for 1st place in 2 sub class in western canada. Should have been that way again in 2002, but once again rules were changed to help future shop customers win. Anyways enough, If future shop can get a good set of rules and follow them, they will be OK.
Ya thats exactly what FS is out to do, Make sure that there customers win

Where do you get this stuff LOL

When I go to comps this year I'm not expecting a spot in the top 3 of my class, it would be nice and I am confident that I could probably do it, but if I lose oh well, at least I had a good time.

It's when it gets TOO competitive that the fun is sucked out of it.
Exactly!!

I went to the future shop finals 2 years ago in calgary, and watch a group of whinning babies cry about how they didnt like how the classes and rules were and how they were nothing like DB drag!!

well hello, its not DB drag, its for fun and fun it what the average person wants.

My thoughts are if you dont like it then Go somewhere else.

I agree....its when you start acting like alot of the hardcore "have to win" competitors at finals...its just like why do you do it then if your not having a good time? </font>
You mean the people who go around and try to get people DQ'd because they are louder than them? </font>
I would imagine the competitors with small penises need to do this, but I'm sure there are is a large group out there that does this anyway. </font>
lol.. it was a girl mostly </font>
I remember that...was just plain stupid some people huh? Same here. Remember at the end when we all got a group photo at landsdowne? That was a great ending to a year of competing friends.

Tim's right, H.O.B. is there for all the beginner dudes who want to see what their systems can do. I go there to show what I can do with very little money and one 12" sub. Its fun to see what other guys are doing as well. Even if you lose (which at Landsdowne I didn't do that great thanks to 'Foof' - bastard!) its still fun to hang out with everybody and help/be helped by everybody.

Good times...

That wasn't the argument.

How many times have you put your sweat/time/travel/money into getting ready for a competition? Just curious, because i was one of those whinning babies your talking about. There are more of us whinning babies that post here also, so maybe know what your talking about before you post.
