Apparently you can't read or have reading comprehension problems that need to be addressed before this conversation can be productive. I was addressing this issue with good manners... but your stupidity comment was uncalled for so thats about enough of that.

The battery comment was directed towards Yuli's Street-A setup. That was very clear as I made no mention of electrical setup beyond referring to Street-A cars and Yuli's comparison to the Z1.

The improper gain setting comment IS for you, apparently nobody there understood the concept of a gain setting and input impedance. Tell me why you didn't even attempt to set the gain on the amp? Is it that you don't understand that input impedance varies from amp to amp? Or that you don't know what a gain **** is? Or maybe you wanted to see a low number so didn't even both optimizing the setup. OR maybe... just maybe... granted, your attitude makes me doubt this, someone just made an oversight and failed to realize the gain should be set.

Honestly... I'm not going to waste my time with this anymore. When you learn how to adjust a gain **** then we'll talk. I'm guessing that out of the hundreds of 1500Ds I've sold everyone that likes their amp is an idiot... and everyone, including the officials at nSPL who clamped one to classify it, have no idea how to measure amp output power. Yet you, who doesn't understand what a gain **** is for, are the authority on clamping amplifier output power?

I'm done with this thread... I am shocked that a whole community of stereo enthusiasts can't see that the setup was flawed in that the gain was not adjusted properly. I'm going to work with Steve to have someone credible give a good testing to the amp in your country -- since apparently everyone in the USA that owns one of my amps is on my payroll and fabricated their results.

And if you think Andy is unqualified to preform a simple amplifier test, You should go to db drag finals, get top 3 and then you can come back and tell him he is unqualified.

Your sundown amp put on a very unimpressive show and didnt do near the numbers you have claimed, It wasnt even a test against the powerbass 3000's, It was a test to see if the sundowns do the power you claim, A single amp at .175 ohms on 16V only did 1507 watts.

And you are saying z1's wont play music? I have pics and vids of mine playing music if you want, and I also bass raced a 150.6 with them. You can send me 4 sundowns to try in my street max set up but Im sure they wont bass race near the same number..... And because after they put on a horrible show you will whine and complain I will toss in 30 12V batteries, to show you they suck on any electrical system

You're debating with someone who has previously trolled the site and has been banned.

What do you expect ? Credibility, none.

Clayton (C Team), keep the personal attacks to a minimal none or else you will be joining that pedophile Team_Obsession on the bant list

I'm just shocked you and Steve are all wrapped up in this.

He has offered it many times my friend. Your test was not performed properly. You did not even touch the gain!! Gain is not a boost. Its a matching tool that allows the proper input to feed the amp the required signal in order to make the amp perform to its maximum potential. Once you figure this comment out then you can test amps my friend.

as far as i know the gains were set to whatever silverbane had his set too and whatever worldind had his set too. So it was a straight swap, the gains werent set up "properly" before they tested the Z1. So thats out of the question. I think what everyone is trying to prove is that a pair of sundowns wont do 4000 watts strapped, and know one can figure out how in the hell you guys get the numbers you are getting. Everyone was very generous when they were guessing how much power they would put out in Andy's van, guesses like 1600-1800 watts. So now one was hating on the sundownz(at the show) until after the test was done and came out at 1507 watts.
