Thats not guilt.
Guilt would be telling him hes a bad person for not coming.

Suggesting he should come out, support the hobby and have fun is just strong encouragement

mini steve i dont think any high output amp will work well of a 450CCA battery. yeah stock group 35 licks nuts.

i didnt expect to win, i just to be honest dont like the bashing you give the sundown products. its a great amp and for what i paid it might the hell be the last amp i ever own. i dont know... it was cheap, it puts out a signal, and it has took some very low voltages, low to the point where my deck can no longer function, and it just shuts the hell off. it also turned off my radar detector.

i will not lie the amp has its problems, like i had a little bit of trouble fitting the 2/0 guage into the terminals, that was disappointing...

and the bass **** is starting to fall apart, it no longer clicks into position, it just slides, and the little blue led on it dont work either. im sure led's and neons are good for some db's... jk.

these are the only two problems i have found sofar....

i should have come out, i really should of, i probably could have got some laughs and someone telling me my trunk rattling is louder then my subs...

oh and by the way to anyone who wants to run clarion subs for spl i have some valuable words of wisdom when it comes to this topic... here they are.... dont. great sq, not loud.

Now that we are on a lighter topic...

I had a good time in nSPL this past season helping my brother with his vehicle in no-wall 0-24 class. For those not familiar you are allowed to use any woofer combination with a total diameter of no more than 24 inches, you are allowed one extra battery compared to factory, one amp per sub, the car can be running, and the box must be 12" from the roof.

We got him up to 150.0 dB w/ 2x DD 9510s 2x SAZ-3000Ds. My Termlab broke so we were unable to tweak it any more... that was with the first iteration box for the 9510s that he built and without tweaking the position at all due to my TL failure. His truck is a 2007 GMC 2500HD extended cab (big ol' cabin) so it was tough to get loud.

We had it up to 147.9 dB w/ 2x SI Mag 12s and 2x SAZ-1500Ds before the 9510s were put in there. We wanted to try 9512s but he ran out of funding and time to build boxes... not to mention my TL was down for the count.

Certainly not Finals winning scores, but it was fun stuff. Terry Brocks took finals in that class with 157.9 dB in his CRX. He does dB Drag as well and has many many years of experience in getting that car loud.

Anyhow... moral of the story is that it's fun even if you don't win. We managed to gain at least 2 tenths at every show that he attended with the truck, so I consider that a great first season for him.

I'll probably do the Wall 401 - 1200 class nSPL this season... meaning you can have a wall, no battery restrictions, and your amps can have a fuse rating / rated current draw up to 1200 amps total. The WR last year was 160.2 dB so I have alot of work to do in order to even come close to that My truck is somewhere in the mid 150s at the moment @ 30 Hz... I'd like to try and reach 160 @ 30 Hz in there as a personal goal. Doubt I'll win finals this year as the other guys have years more SPL experience than I do, but it'll be fun!

I might try out BassRace as well... haven't looked into much so I need to learn more about it first.

PS: I will likely be sending two amps to one of the Mods here at CCA to test out I'm not going to say who or when until the details are final.

I am working out the details with "JordyO" -- one of the mods here.

Since I'm not Canadian and I don't know 99% of you guys I asked Steve if he was legit and he agreed that he is, so Jordy will be getting two amps soon.

The worst that can happen is the amp puts out 1507 watts @ 16 volts again. I dont see what there is to lose.
I'm not going to send out amps to anyone as I would have no recourse if they were not returned. As I said, I worked out with Steve who will do the testing.

You can buy one and test it But at my financial risk I need to verify who it is that I'm sending the product to. Steve is really the only guy up there that I know well so his opinion is what I go by.
