I think what everyone is trying to prove is that a pair of sundowns wont do 4000 watts strapped, and know one can figure out how in the hell you guys get the numbers you are getting. Everyone was very generous when they were guessing how much power they would put out in Andy's van, guesses like 1600-1800 watts. So now one was hating on the sundownz(at the show) until after the test was done and came out at 1507 watts.
Okay... one last comment... see page 2:

"Both amps were tested on a battery bank that ws floated at 15.8V. Both amps gain levels were set to lowest. I dont know the input voltage, I am sure Riprock can tell us."

admincca,

You are right. I'm done getting carried away with this thread. I'll just work with Steve to get some credible testing done in Canada and settle it. It still baffles me that all of my USA testing is deemed false... when reputable people performed it. People who paid money for their amps and did the testing to help me out for free because they like the product.

Perhaps you should ask if Andy was running a line driver? Maybe they were getting 6V+ input, and gains at min was correct?
Just speculating, but it's possible.

but still with the gains at a minimum is that still not a respectable ammount of power from a rated 1500W amp?

if you want to lend me your tl i would be more then glad to do a 130 with my sundown and clarion setup. thats about all im guessing i would get out of my ssystem and if it meters higher i dont care.

oh and why would i have wasted 50 bucks to get spanked in the street c class?

my excuse this time was a power outage which killed my alarm i woke up around 12, and brad had my amp for his rx7.
There is realy no excuse my friend. If my single 10 with a woping 300w does 129+ in full SQ form and I made it out for the complete weekend...You need to suport the game when you can. I'm all in for SQ yet still show suport compete and work these events so the rest of you can play.

So let me get this right. 1 battery isn't enough and neither was Andy's well more than 1. Mmmm guess the Sundowns need extra love or something. So if the 1500 sundown isn't SPL amp then what is it made for?

Yes the Sundowns were disapointing. I realy like to see them perform better than they did. I know for a fact that a few of them could have been sold this week end if they did better.

We in the real world allways look for something that will "perform" better. This just dosn't seem to be the case here. Looking for an edge is important.

As said before if Sundowns isn't for SPl, you need multiple batt. ect then what is it's purpose?

Are you guys actually trying to guilt him into comming? how about you just ask him for donations? Hahahaha...

You want to get more people to come, focus on the aspect of having a good time and loose the guilt part.
