Amp going into protection mode for no reason....

Pineer sub and sony xplod amp. If you want more details I can't remember the exact names but can get it quickly for ya.

Where is Peel Audio?

Yea, Ima put a different amp in tommorrow and see if works. My guess is it works fine...

Did you check your voltages with a multimeter?. The fuse could have popped (even though the filament in fuse looks good) not the fuses on the amp, but the main fuse at the battery. The amps is just getting power from the remote turn-on and just by default turns on the protection light.

Most likely culprit is a fried transistor inside the amp. it's a Sony, there is a reason they have a horrible reputation in the industry.
