amp wont turn off???

amp wont turn off???
hey guys i have a sort of interesting problem. I have an MTX MXA3002 amp and it wont turn off (even when the car is off). If i remove my faceplate, the speakers hooked to the amp will buzz and squeal fairly loud, and when the faceplate is put on, they do it still but very quietly. The remote cable is hooked up to the remote cable for my other amp which is turning on and off fine so i cant see that being the problem. So if anyone has any ideas that'd be great

oh it was pretty much just me being stupid.
the remote cable going to my alpine amp (the one working properly) is the same size and colour as the wire for my trunk pin for my alarm. so basically the remote wire for my mtx amp was hooked up to my alarm and getting constant power rather than being hooked up to the other remote wire like i thought.
