Is youre amp 1 ohm stable if not youre subs where most likely wired to 1 ohm and pooched it. I would suggest anything that runs 1500rms-2500rms @ 1ohm.

Yes cav youre 2500d will be a great match, with the perfect box. And RObzz its all in how you set up youre dials and . I would suggest 200 rms for the best of the situation. Youre amp was mismatched with youre subs.

so it is just how you instal it ? but does mono channel or 2 channel do a difference for 2 subs ? i mean it dosent change a thing right ? And i went to a local shop in canada and they instal it for me and my amp jam . where or how can i know who is doing a great job and if i want to do it myself how could i do it ? Is future shop good for installation ? and does it have a warranty ? thank you again for your time

No it was just not the proper combination of sub properties with your amp and made it crap out on you. I would suggest a Hifonics BXI2008 mono amp or 2 Alpine MRP-1000 mono amps, or if you can afford it a Pioneer PRS-D2000spl mono amp. These would suit youre application well.

The MTX 92001 will power those subs well, if they weren't funked when your other amp let the smoke out. You might want to have them checked first to be on the safe side.
