impedance vs impedance

sorry for all the questions, but i've got one more, this time regarding subwoofers and their impedance. if you're looking to create a 1 ohm load with two subs, my understanding is that it can be done in 3 ways, two dvc 4ohm subs, two dvc 1ohm subs, or 2 svc 2 ohm subs, right? my question is, is there a difference between two dvc 4 ohm subs or two dvc 1 ohm subs? i know one requires wiring in parallel twice, while the other requires wiring in series then in parallel, but is there a better choice between the two?

1) Yes
2) Difficult to say without knowing the make and model but the difference is not worth worrying about.
3) See answer #2
