Panasonic CQ-C7405W head deck wont work

l have just taken my head deck out of my car, but accidently touched the negative and the possitive wires, and now it wont go. What would it take to get it going again

You likely blew the fuse.

i have about 9 panasonic cd players. have u tried replacing the fuse at the rear of the unit.
