All sounds good, so what are the specific dimensions on this box? How will I assemble it? I have a good general idea of construction, but some dimensions would help

I'd use lowtones design, but that's just me.

Yeah use lowtonez' cuz mines shared chamber, are you thinking that the subs will differ in performance because you have two amps that don't have exact numbers to match? I thought that when you put the amp switch on "slave" it's the other amp that controls the gains etc, if not then what's this "slave/master"? When using rabbit joints for 1" mdf, how deep should a groove be, .25"?

Well my amps aren't bridgeable (us amps xt4000D's) so mistake on my part, but I got em for way below retail, same for the subs! So this is a pretty budgeted build

Lowtonez' box looks hardcore, I want that now haha. Everything you guys have said makes sense, and if I got the room I might as well use it. Just waiting for lowtones pm me the more specific instructions

To rbgnwa45 i use bassbox pro6, winisd, and termpak, and the always go over everything through sketchup and check all measurements and do the old oen and paper calculations. You can only use a master/slave function on strappable amps, he could put them in the same chamber, but would have to be very close in dial settings and usually shouldnt be done without proper electrical tools. The RE program i have never found useful it may give a close guess but does include driver displacements, and dosent allow you to tweak stuff. As for the rabbit joints i have never use them, but others will usually go half of the thickness of your materials.

To the paul which one is it you want, the subs and port back or subs up, port back? I will try and get them to you by tommorow night after i get home from a family function, seeing as it is christmas eve.

I think I will ask you to give me the one with the port and subs both in the back so I can use the top of the sub box if I ever do have to throw my book bag or some random luggage ontop of it.

Thanks a bunch man, I can see why the forums are so popular. You got experts handing out free advice and schematics lol. Take your time, I'm in no rush. No stores are open until the 26th/27th anyways.
