I don't currently have a fixed address but i am currently in the greater toronto area and i'll race you for pink slips. just to warn you i'm running and 86 k car with a factory engine and tranny with headers and a NOS sticker.
mmmm??/ ok and you are? I don't care what you have under your hood, btw if I did want to race you.... what the hell would I want with a K car if i did win ?? any how this has nothing to do with racing I simply said I ain't no dodge fan??? Soo go crawl back under your rock...... </font>
okay, so you think just because you have a fixed address that you can push my around, well, let me tell you something jealouz, i'll race you for pink slips. and another thing, cavaliers are made like crap and so are caprice classics. by the way, i don't even own a house, so don't think you can push me around. you think you're better than me, well let me tell you something, i'll race you for pink slips. so you better equip your car with a NOS sticker or something cause i'm gonna cover my car in em'.

i'm sorry, guess i went a bit overboard there. just having a bad day - i found out i had to replace the engine in my k car. i went to the pick a part and found a k car engine with only 500,000 kilometers on it. (mine had 5,000,000 kilometers) great cars eh?!! i'll try my best to stick to my quality, realistic posts from now on.

cuz you bought a GM car - I tried to tell ya up top there

Now lets look at this - you paid a solid $20,000 for this car I would assume (I don't look at Cav pricing but being a Z24...) so I would think if you are dropping $50 for a kit, harness, and antenna adaptor that I know I would throw in the rest of the money and get the relocation kit. I mean, it IS a new car - why chance the argument with a service manager with their head in their ***?

After all - you'll be taking it in for service quite often anyway

yeah yeah - I know.. I hate GM
I use to have 98 Sunfire Gt and never had a single issue with it had it for 2 years it was 5 years old, never had to do anything to it, cept of cours put in the performance clutch cause I burnt the stock one up, soo plus this car is under warranty for good 7 years/140,000lm soo no to worried at all .....

That aside I might just get the 180$ *** raping kit, I have everything else good thing it's pay day friday...

There is a new harness that allows you to keep the chimes without relocating the deck on 2000+ cavaliers/sunfires. I don't know the part #, but I think it is Metra that just came out with it. If you must keep the chimes, use this harness, because I know you don't want a crappy stock deck sitting in your trunk.

Yeah Metra does have it but it's also like 180$ I couldn't care less about the door chimes, only thing i'm worried about is other crap that might need the actually radio for, and your right I don't want the stupid radio hanging in my back... sure I Might an amp rack soo i would just hide the radio in there but still it's more of a pain in the ****....

It is the one for the 2000+ Tracker. People on here may the BS rumours about airbags not working and various other crap, but it is all untrue!!!!! I have the Tracker harness and have NO problems whatsoever. This rumour must have been started by some installer who spliced into the wrong wire or somethin.

Check out this website. It will explain everything about the aftermarket HU install on 2000+ cavalier/sunfires.
