6 Drivers, 6 Channels, only 4 Pre Outs
Keanu Reeves (I can act as good as any fence post) Matrix voice: WHOA...
This topic is because I sincerely respect your opinions. Not to single anyone out, but especially people who disassemble a brand new car...
I don't try to start just to watch the fur fly, its not my style and I have better things to do.
I have heard very, very, very nice front only setups (you know who you are) that I have no hope of duplicating or affording, not to mention setting up correctly.
Now, FOR ME, IN MY VEHICLE, I can hear a gap without the rears. Now for sure that means I don't have my fronts set up perfectly, or I have crappy equipment, or whatever, but I say again, I have heard properly done fronts and they blow my car out of the water, but my little SUV needs the rears.
Running them off the H/U and thus ignoring them from a sound processor standpoint was a great idea thats so simple that I feel more stupid than when I first posted.
Denonite: I have another window open searching for what you posted. As long as it wont cost both arms and a leg I will consider it, but MR TUNER works this board hard and I should really order something from him
YULI: Yes, yes, I know, I'm not really cheap though. I don't have a spending problem, just a money problem

actually if he uses the centre out on the pxa..he can control the frequency range to best suit his taste. The only negative, and that's debatable as well, is the mono rear fill...i really don't like it, as i like full stereo sound all around...don't care for that "live acoustic set up in the car" idea.

The last suggestion I have is to not use deck power....but thats just me!
John good luck and if you need help I'm a PM away!
did you say the 2 channel is running the front and the 4 channel is running the back? you should probably reverse the rca inputs from the deck one each amp from how you initially wanted to set it up.
dont alpine decks have TA? I know mine does, i dont really know how to use it tho.
