Im new to the car audio thing... like, i bought a Kenwood Deck yesterday.

I was just wondering if someone could give me a link to orient(sp) me? I sort of want to just Get a starter system that will make my 95 saturn thump slightly.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Well. I went to selective sound and the guy said i should be able to work everything out with my deck... I'm thinking some 6X9's then a couple of 10's?

I Don't know what kind yet, as i haven't even started looking yet ( I'm on a low budget.) But is that something i could do myself?
Is there a order I should plan on getting and installing the parts?

Like I said. I'm Fresh. ANY and ALL Advice/ Help is welcome!

If selective sound can't help you, nobody can....

You asked what order to do things.....
You said you've already got the HU.
Next you need some speakers.
Then an amp and sub.

Then when you've got too much power on the subs, you'll need an amp for front stage, and better front speakers. Of course you'll want to connect your ipod. But then when you have more front than sub, you get a bigger sub amp. Then you blow subs. Replace them with something better.
Add an amp and speakers for rear fill. Now upgrade the deck, get a cd changer.

By that time, a few years down the road, you'll finally know what you want/ expect from a car system.

Then, you'll rip it all out and start again.
