Capacitor

What is a capacitor used for? like would it make my subs sounds better? i got 2 10 " kicker comps with exile 500watt amp 1000watt max power

there are countless webpages out there that explain the use.

to answer your question, so it would not make your subs sound better.

do you have an electrical issue? amp cutting out or going into protect?

use another battery that will make the biggest difference caps are like a batt but they discharge too quickly secondary battery will make way more3 of a diffence.

Here's the shortest way I can think of to put this.....

They are used to stabilize voltage levels when there is a large current draw on the system.

If you are not having electrical issues (with dimming headlights during loud bass notes being the first indicator) you do not need a cap.

If you are there are a couple of things you need to do before you even think of getting a cap.

ohhh nooo noo i dont have any issues , i was just wondering cause i thought itd make my subs louder lol thankss for the helpp though i dont need one hahah

They came with the box man, here ill show u in the link its a ported one i think

aha yEah their not badd if i had more money man i would go with alpine type x or kicker l7s
