It's more about the sound you want to replicate and the box you can fit for your vehicle. If space is an issue, you need something that can perform well in sealed. If you want to bang it out to Hip-Hop, then you need a ported box and a sub that performs ported.

Sundown is a fan favourite, but to be honest all of those subs are.

I definitely listen to more hip hop and rap. So I'm guessing I need to go ported. I can get measurements. I want a removable box, not willing to build a permanent enclosure inside the trunk. How do I tell what my max box size can be? I can get measurements of the trunk opening and the trunk if needed. Also, I live in Pittsburgh. There really aren't any good audio shops within reasonable distance. You guys know of any?
