Ebay Classic sub dilemma

Heres the situation. i want subs. i dont know if i want 2 12's or 2 15's. I want a nice balance between spl/sq. i need the box, amp, cone, etc etc whatever. I need an entire kit. Price range is no more than 300. Trunk is 12x12 cubic ft.
I got a pioneer head unit. I was looking on ebay at some nice kickers. Saw some audiopipes. Some rockford and fosgate. And some boss. i dont know anything about subs so make sure you dumb it down for me.

I am not going to claim to know anywhere near as much as most people here, but I know if you search sites like Amazon you can find some decent deals as well. What I have bought for my own trucks has been about half there and half Ebay. I have never been opposed to buy cheaper stuff. If I can buy a 700 watt sub for 20 bucks and have it last 10 years I'm fine with that.(keep in mind I rarely have it cranked to max) I bought a 400 watt Boss amp with a wiring kit for $60. I built my own box so I have no clue what that will cost you. My set up wont blow the lid off your trunk but I got by cheap and I get the sound I wanted out of my sub. When it comes to the technical aspect listen to these guys. Just thought I would chime in with the cheapest way I found to set myself up.
