Crossover freq. variance with impedance

ok here is a question.. doesnt the impedence of the speaker change from frequency to frequency?
So if your trying to figure out what frequency to set the crossover at couldnt you be way off if the impedence is really high at the frequency you want the crossover to be at?

or do I have it completely wrong?

Yes the impedance does change with frequency too. I think they are looking at the overall average resistance.
