It is my undersstanding that digital output makes up for not having to use RCA's correct. [/QB]
What is the unit called that will trasnform the dgitial back to RCA so you can an what's the point... unless you are using amps with digital in ...all confused now . Perhaps someone can explain . [/QB]

That, Sir, is un-real.
What's more un-real, is the fact that, if I sold my car, all my stereo equipment and my left nut, I probably still would not be able to afford one.
Well, I could probably get 5K for my left nut because someone would try to make babies with it and then there'd be a whole bunch of dead sexy baby me's running around.

With regards to mounting it, the older sony sleeves that require the two pieces to be screwed on each side of the deck work for the 8250. It's a tight fit, but it's an option if you're not iso mounting. As for a trim, that'll prolly have to custom... unless those Nak trims fit?
I've played cd-r's on mine and it plays them all wonderfully. Sure they're not the greatest when burned off an mp3 or wav, but for convenience, it's great. Richness of the sound is still better than my old sony c910/xdp-210 combo and nak-45z.
Only thing is I find the 8250 to get fairly warm. I ended up putting cooling fans on it 'cause the heat is just makin me nervous!
