Where could someone take it silkscreened? Any convenient places in Toronto?

 

good Q? any good, half decetly priced silk screening places in ontario?

 

Does removing the logo improve the SQ? or are you guys so affected by what other people think. Peer pressure is a bastard eh!

 

Well before anodizing the faceplate black you have to remove the lettering. Then you silk screen the lettering back on. This change makes the deck fit in better with dark interiors, as silver sticks out like a sore thumb and looks odd. Plus it attracts thieves

 

You can explain in more details how all this is done? How much does this cost?

I have an all-black interior and I'm considering the 8250.

 

I did it cause the RF logo/name is ugly looking.. Deck looks so much better with out the name.

I should be getting mine back soon from having a remote control added to it..

I would just hate to think that some of you guys care more about what other people think than your own belief as to what sounds good especially Mr. Bailey as I have the utmost respect for the man's work.

The internals look just as nice as the outside does. DAC (Dual PCM1702) is a PCB located on the rear right side of the unit, quality op-amps used throughout. Maybe I'll get one in the future ...... I'll have to hear Chev2's first/again when I gets it back to him, lol
