Enclosure Question
#22
You have in your possession the car, a measuring tape, math skills that you are required to know by the time you are in grade 8 and a step dad that builds high end furniture for 30 years, why are you asking if a box designed by someone else will fit your car?
While Jalat designs and builds kick **** boxes, he generally does so with the vehicle present, exactly the same as most shops would require. If you want to be safe, either do the work yourself, have your step dad help you or have a local shop do it. Measure twice cut once.....

L x W x H = cubic volume
12" x 12" x 12" = 1728 cubic inches = 1 cubic foot
This is your constant formula to work from. Now you need to figure out the maximum dimensions of the box that can fit in your car. What if you only have 16" of height or 32" of width? This is why you need to do the work if you are building your own box. Once you have the maximum fit measurements, it is working the problem backwards to get to the solution. By this I mean that if you measurements indicate that you have 9 cubic feet 15552 cubic inches or 9 cubic feet of airspace and you know that you need 6, obviously the box can be made smaller and it will fit. Watch for clearance under the back of the hatch when it is closed, between the shock towers, where the back seat comes into the area. Everything needs to be measured.
