Wasn't able to see a box number on there, so i took a picture instead, maybe that will help...

I also cant seem to track down my Focals, so I was thinking of just buying a set of speakers for the front and an amp, I can always add rears later. Also looking to deaden the doors a bit with whatever the recomended product is these days (Dynomat??)
Rob, I've been craxy at work and cant seem to find the time to call. Can you give me some ideas/prices and send me a PM. Thanks.

FWIW,your box appears to be a Bassworx GPH10BK . Specs are 1.4 cu, and tuned to 40hz.

I have the same sub amp (alpine mrp-500) and it pounds my type-r. Its definitely not the amp, but possibly the gain settings. Check the LPF too.

Should be adequate although I'm sure there's probably slightly better boxes for your setup. Mr2NR could give you a better idea .

Few q's though , did you check the speaker wires into the sub were in phase? Can you set the levels for the speakers and subs independently at your deck? If so, try turning down the speaker levels there, turn up the sub level and turn down the amp setting. Not sure if you have the bass boost turned on the MRP M500, but if you do turn it off . Bass boost on that amp just makes it sound like muddy crap IMO

I would think a sub with an amp that large behind would have some hefty bass!!
