Help Please.

I just installed a new alpine deck in my 05 F-150 and it works great. Until i move. Once i give it gas, or even start rolling it stops playing. this is happening in Drive as well as in reverse. Any thoughts?

Use a multimeter or go have your alternator checked. Your voltage regulator could be shot and as you rev the motor the deck is seeing excess voltage and shutting down.

Back in the day a friend had a truck with a bad regulator - his tapedeck would speed up when you revved it!

When you hooked up the deck did you use a wiring harness or do you slice and dice the stock wiring?
