do a search on eBay and Audiogon for the products. Just about everything on my list was over $5,000 US new (and on 'Recommended Component' lists)and is much less than a thousand now, Dynacos, NAD, Rotel were inexpensive new so they will be less used! *** I just went through Audiogon and it seems the prices for used gear is going up about 20-30%*** ...must be popular t save money
The price of equipment from companies that fail is really low too (Counterpoint, Dunlavy, Duntech). The high quality tubed Marantz and the uber expensive Cello are still in demand so their prices are higher.

just some decent equptment for my comp, these comp speakers are sucking right now

 

I'd look at proaudio shops... you should be able to find something used that will do 300RMSx2 for that...
