i hate to keep asking questions but what would the dcon and the icon be comparable to? I heard the dcon = w3? and even the icon = w7? I definitely could be wrong but I would just like to know.

 

the SSA subs dig much stronger on the low stuff than the JL subs...
as far as SQ I would take the SSA's

take in mind I tested the Icons for 6 months before I took on the product line
and they did nothing but impress......

 

bang for the buck I would run a Icon over Jl as I am one those guys who sees Jl as being too expensive for what is it!

ok perfect.....I was looking at those as well. Now all I need is an amp for the sub. Now I was just going to go ahead with the maybe the saz-1000d that's listed in the soundsolutionsaudio website. Would the Icon be comparable to say a W6?

 

one other question.....is it alright to mount the amp on the sub box itself? or have a seperate place for it, say the backseat.

 

also lol for that sub should I get a sealed? ported? and how do I determine what to get the box tuned at? it's going to be going in a 02 sentra if that helps.
