JBL 600.1 low level input Q
#1
I hooked up one of these amps in my friends car using the low level inputs on the amp since he is keeping the stock deck. Now I had *fun* trying to jam the wires in there for it to fit and work.
Im wondering how the hell are you suppose to do it, is there a special adatper you can buy that you can screw in the speaker wires and then it clips to the input of the amps or something?
helpy!
Thanks for the info

not sure if it comes with a set of speaker connectors like the MTX and Alpine's do to connect the low level inputs but you could always go with a line-level to rca converter, cost you 25 bucks or so but well worth it.

The 600.1 should have just standard spade (male) inputs for HI-Level input (from stock deck). The low level is the RCA Style... Just crimp on the wired and then plug them in... just a note, if you parallel the inputs (use all inputs) you can get more voltage going across the input section of the amp, less gain required. try it.

so tis called HIGH level inputs huh...uhmmm.
I still dont understand how I could crimp the wires in there. There like little metal peices with a hole in them INSIDE the amp that i can barely access through a little hole on the side of the amp.
Maybe we dont think the same thing when we say crimp.
