Well after some six months of collecting dust in my closet, I finally managed to get a box built for my x-max's powered by a ZPA 0.5. Although my car is not yet ready for the install yet, I decided to check the subs and amp in the house last night. As I made the final connections, my heart raced with anticipation to hear the sweet rewards of my labour. Then my heart stopped as I hooked up the remote and nothing happened.

Outraged, I quickly picked up the phone to scowl at my buddy for selling me a dud, but thankfully there was nobody home. As I settled down I carefully removed all wires from the amp and proceeded to reinstall the plexi glass cover, when long behold there it was. See it turns out that Phoenix Gold engineers are pretty smart and decided for safety they would install a switch so when the cover is removed the amp will not turn on.

Anyways, hooked it all back up and it works great, just thought you guys would get a kick out of my story LOL
