Talking Need opinions on amplifiers....Help!!

Any suggestions on which amplifiers (size and brand) to or not to get.

Have an 03 nissan sentra. Sony Deck, 4 alpine type s speakers, alpine type e 10" sub. Currently have a sony xplod amp which in my opinion is not pushing enough (quality) sound out of my sub. So i want to buy a new one and hook the current amp up to my speakers.

I want my little car to pound, I bought my speakers for clarity so all that i need from the sub/amp is a lot of good bass and really really loud , and the option to add a 2nd 10".

Add another 10 put them in a vented enclosure, get an amp capable of 4-500 watts rms, that should help...

Or pick up my amp which will do 85x2 at 2 ohms (can run 4 speakers off of it getting 40+ watts rms to each) and the sub channel will do 420 watts at 2 ohms, all with full crossover control. Great price too, if I do say so myself.....

looks like you have a 250 watt sub, but based on alpines 'peak' rating I'm guessing it can handle upwards of 375 watts as long as you arn't pushing it too hard for too long......

Since you are also thinking of adding a second sub, and they are 4ohms each..... I'd be looking for a mono block amp that can put out something like 500-800 watts RMS at 2ohms.....

hope that helps
