That's what you may have to do, to stay in lower classes. I would just make the plexi slightly over size on the middle amp, and drill an individual hole for each wire in it, then have it disappear under the amps. That way it looks pretty clean and won't bump you up in class.

a judge will look for anything to take points off you, wiring integrity, especially in usac, is hyper anl and worth a decent amount of points, and amp mods are a big no no, unless expert is where you want to hang your hat, if thats the case, go for it. heck i know of a guy that won the finals years ago in the expert class.......against only 1 other car [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] , not hard to have done with competition like that
yeah i Kinda figured IASCA expert was getting scant, even just IASCA sq competitors are becoming a rare breed. it really sucks though cause its a good community to share information with friends. I know ive met alot over the years from the guys in the sq crowd, learned alot as well.
