I know, thats actually why I was asking about that deck

lol...

Its either get a deck, or start my SAS so I can actually use my 35" MTR's

we'll see.

Big Sexy, Brands may be a preference... but you didnt mention Infinity. Are Infinity's generaly not regarded as 'high quality' ?

Would having a component set in the doors (6.5" driver and tweet) and a 3.5" in the dash sound wierd you think? I guess Im bent on the 3.5" because my front stage is almost nonexistent right now, and I cannot afford a good set of components for a few weeks... and Im just anxious.

I guess what Im asking is, will it hurt anything to have them there?

Yea, its not really idea... If you go that rout it would be better to keep the door speakers as midbass only... low pass em around 300hz and highpass the midrange if possible...

In my brother's 86 Toyota, he runs 3.5 JL's highpassed, and Cadence 6.5" midbass full range, and it sounds very good for the setup. I am always surprised at the decent stereo separation he gets, even with the dash speakers firing at your knees.

Most component sets will let the tweeter play from around 3000hz + up, the mid plays 3000hz and down, depends on the set. With the Alpine 9833/35 you can set it up to adjust the tweeter highpass point, and you can adjust the crossover points for the mids, so that they can play from 50 or 60 or 80hz and up, to protect them from the lowest frequencies that the subs take care of, and you can set the point at which they stop playing up to, also. So you can bandpass them to play, for example, 60hz-2500hz, or 50hz-4000hz. Lots of control.
