Does anyone have any opinions on the Alpine Type R component speakers or the Alpine V-power amp's?
I was still debating between getting the rear speakers replaced with some decent co-ax speakers and getting a 4 channel amp.

the Alpine R's are like $300+ (atleast the ones I was looking at were). The Morels I got, sound better and were only $260 as for the amp I would recommend a rockford fosgate. They are just as good and cheaper then the alpine, if I remember correctly though I havent been looking into equipment for four years now when I picked my amps up...

Personally, if it were my vehicle, a 4 channel amp and rear speakers coupled with some great fronts and a good cd player would be the way that I would go. Able to play to a respectable volume level, able to be expanded to without throwing items away. Do it once and do it properly.
