Ok so the local shop her can get me stuff at cost, since a friend of mine works there... they carry pioneer,kenwood,kaption and clarion. I'm already looking into clarion screen h/u for her... the basic idea here is to get her nice front speakers and a 2 chan amp for them.. then a new amp subs and box as well. Out of those bands which do you think will get the most bang for her buck?

 

Pioneer or Kenwood if they carry the upper end lines (Premiere, and excellon). Also you could just get a big 4ch amp and bridge the rears to the sub. In theory it's not the best thing to do..but it won't be problematic and it'll save money/space. For just a standard speaker swapped, non-custom install it'll be plenty
