Just checked a familiar website and 2/0 is on sale for $3.49, probably the same as you can get licorice coloured 4 ga for

 

Darvex website sells 0 gauge wire for 1.92? A foot. But I haven't checked shipping price yet. Where do you buy welders wire from exactly?

ask for the welding cable and they will have them in spools

 

Easy enough. How much do they sell it per foot at princess auto?

 

i dont remember, but they have 2/0 as well, i do think its under 4$ per foot.

 

I picked some up last weekend, it was right around $3.50 a ft for the 1/0

Just shy of 3 for the 2 gauge if memory serves.

Edit: However Ive heard whisperings of AA Electronics selling similar wire for half the price.

 

dont know if the princess auto out our way would have different prices but the 2/0 gauge goes for $4.50 a foot out here in NS


not to threat jack but does anyone thats running 2/0 gauge welders wire know the strand count of there wire is???
