My first system is my current system, but not for long, haha
Inside my 96 Nissan Sentra:
JVC KD-G300 CD/mp3 deck
2x JBL Decade DS55 5.24"
2x JBL Power P632 6.5"
2x MTX Blue Thunder 10" in prefab box
Jensen XA3022Lx 300w 2ch Powering the Subs
next week I'm replacing the JVC with a Pioneer DEH-P8600MP
and I'm going to add a Power Acoustics 4 channel LT720 Amp to power the 4 JBL's

I had a really cheap sony head unit, 3.5" speakers in the dash, panasonic 6X9s in the rear, 8" bazooka tube with learjet amp. I didn't change anything but the sub. Later I bought a Boston Acoustics sub, then 2 12" Pheonix Gold subs in a folded horn that took up my entire trunk. By that time I was running a 2 channel 400w rms Pioneer amp at 2ohms and never blew a 30 amp fuse.

10 yrs ago:
89 Pontiac Tempest
Craig Cassete Deck - with a cool u-mount chassis.
Legacy "400 Watt" 2 channel amp ( I measured it at 200wrms 4 ohm mono)
2 10" Jensen subs in a ported box.
One night while playing with teh amp settings I accidentally flipped the "bridged" switch without rearranging the wiring . . .
I then Learned that my Jensen Subs were their flame series
Thankfully I yanked the box out before the car burnt with it.
