yah. they put alot of hours into the design of those subs. they need to make it the best driver for a very very wide range of use(most like entry lvl or intermediate). So they are made to make the most of anything and in any situation. Some more that are geared toward high end consumers who know what they want and will stage their room for their home/computer stereo. My .02 aint worth 2 cents lol
