woofer on speaker moves out then in when i switch tracks, making a staticky noise.

If you tried switching the yellow/red leads, I would suggest getting better RCA's.

I switched from $2 poop to some nice shielded ones and it fixed my switching noises back in the day.

well ive kinda gave up up, but something weird happened, just to clear it up, im not hooked up to an amp, my rcas in the trunk are just loose. anyway i tried grounding the rcas anyway, with speaker wire i wrapped the negative and positive ends of the to a screw in the back of the HE. and tried every possible combination grounding the rcas. i eventually got the popping to go away, but only through one rear speaker, the other one stopped producing sound, and vise-versa using the the opposite inputs in the HE.

what am i doing wrong?
