You'll probably get pretty much the same power between 8 ohm bridged and 2 ohm not bridged.
Try hooking it up both ways and see which you like best. Should be easy enough since the 8A has push-spring terminals. </font>
I'm confused immensly ! How will I run my e8a in 8ohms bridged if it's a dual 4 ohm sub ???? </font>
You run the coils in series. Read this: http://www.jlaudio.com/tutorials/dvc/dvcAdvantage.html

1 DVC driver with Voice Coils in Series
Connecting the two voice coils of the driver in series (+ to -) will result in the following impedance:
Dual-4 Ohm Subwoofer: 8 Ohms
and yeah the 4 ohm stereo thing is usually not recomended ........but I've done it before (with a non bridgeable amp), it works too

It will be mono either way...trust me, don't run one subwoofer in stereo unless you can match your gains
But you can wire your VC's in parallel and hook it up to one channel of your amp, leaving the other to do nothing. This will be a 2 ohm "stereo" load (stereo is in "" because it really isn't stereo...if you had 2 subs hooked up like that then it would be....)
Or you can wire your VC's in series and bridge your amp for a 8 ohm bridged load.

no, the power is split evenly between the VC's
So if you have 350w total, that is what you are giving the subwoofer. (175w each VC)
