And nothing is wrong with running a DVC sub in stereo.

I love my e8a's ..........
I'm running 350 watts to each and they take all I can throw at em without breaking a sweat and play nice and low
I put mine in .7 cubes each and used a 2" round flared port to cut down on port lenght (it's 11" long I think)
you'll be happy I'm sure ........

But yeah running that sub with one voice coil on each channel will give you more power than wiring the sub in parallel on one channel of the amp. Not sure how much power comparatively that you would get by wiring it in series and bridging the amp though...
When you get it just wire it up the 3 different ways (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A MONO SIGNAL GOING INTO THE AMP ie...non-fading subwoofer outputs from your deck) and see which you like best.
- One VC per channel on the amp
- Wire sub in series and bridge the amp
- Wire sub in parallel and run it off one channel of the amp.
