I believe my ears are a bit worse now, after loud car stereo, power tools, playing guitar too loudly, concerts, and firecrackers. I haven't had my hearing tested for a long time but i'd say it's worse. I also have a constant ringing in my ears, but its only noticeable when there NO other noises, sometimes I can't sleep if its totally silent.

I've heard loud bass causes high blood pressure, trouble sleeping and a short temper... I also heard it damages your hearing due to all that pressure put against your eardrums, not the actual sound.

^^^hey thunderous, is that true, cause i have trouble sleeping, and some of the other symptoms you described, not so much the anger part though, but i havent been in my truck for almost 3 mos now, and in my winter car i only got two tens running of a little alpine 45x2 amp. i doubt its even hitting 105db. but are these problems permanent, the sleeplessness(is that spelled right?)and stuff. you would think it would go away from not being exposed to loud music any more. hold on i gotta answer the phone......never mind, it wasnt ringing

My ears are pretty good. Never really done anything stupid although I had a GF scream full tilt into one of my ears trying to scare the crap out of me once............. ear rang for days. She's now walking around without arms.

BIG MAC, WTF Drop me a line.......... we should talk. Sounds like you're in the dumpers.

At least I can't blame it on my stereo lol
I thought I was the only one who has to sleep with the fan on year round, good to hear I'm not alone.
