We brught a few amps down to my place and did some testing!

It was really great!

We had a lot of amplifiers!

Here are the results!

Kicker ZR1000 (2 ohm reactive) - 354.8 w/m^2
Crossfire BMF 1000D (½ ohm reactive) - 416.9 w/m^2
Earthquake D2 (½ ohm reactive) - 602.6 w/m^2
Hardcore Riprock 500d (½ ohm reactive) - 676.1 w/m^2
Crossfire 4000d (2 ohm reactive) - 707.9 w/m^2!
E-Audio 3000d (½ ohm reactive) - 776.2 w/m^2!

Guttentaug.

I think you need to get that crossfire down to one ohm and your e-audio amp down to 0.25 aswell as the D3

Tests were all done at 12.5 volts.

We will redo the test with most of the amps, and measuring output power on a reactive and a DC load, at varius impedances to ge tthe most out of the amps. We'll also try to add a D3 in there.

Dale, I'll be bringing a 3000d out on the 20th.
It's the same as the most recent models of EXT 3000d and AB 200.1

We also managed to only blow one of the above amps during testing! Anyone guess which amp? Anyone? Anyone? Dustin? Anyone?

Was that 3000d the same as the amps that Josh just bought?

also do you have access to an SPL meter because SPL results are way more useful than power output results...if that is what a w/^2 even is lol

Actually W/m^2 is SPL results, and is the non-logarithmic form of decibels. It represents SPL as a fuction of the energy per second that passes through a given area.

Yes the e-audio amps are the amps that I brought in from Korea.

All we need now is a D3 and a colossus, and we will have most of the powerful street amps tested.
