i like the numbers on the riprock...
i think you should do some more testing on it...
maybe you should even open one up and see what the magic inside is. you might even be able to modify it a little to tweak it up. just be careful...don't break it or fry it, that would be horrific!

My pics aren't too great but I can just say that there ARE differences in the Internals. Unfortunately I don't know enough about electronics to be able to name the parts, but they are very different.
While I was at IASCA finals I was also told by an ABass rep that the SPL Dyn is NOT the same amp as the 200.1. He said that SD had done some tweaking to the board that AB hadn't had the chance to do yet. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

I can see the difference in the 2 amps. I highly doubt that the changes will make a difference. I dont have my amps here right now but I am going to go get one and open it up again to see what is different.
And Jordy I would really like to test all 3 amps side by side. However I want to tell you this before hand, if we do test them I am prepared to take all three amps to their limits.

Chris i spoke to Bob at finals and he said the amps are not the same, he said spl D had done something to it to make the amp go into lower load without kicking into protect at 12.5v
he said that they are working on taking out the protection out of the 200.1's. so i would guess that is the diff between spl D and ab amps.
