width left to right between wheel wells is 40"
maximum i can go for height is 16.5"
and depth front to back is 30"
from center of rear hatch window to center of front windshield is 96"

it is a Jugg 15 with dual 1.8 ohm coils and the amp claims a max of 1500watts at 1 ohm which i would also like to get tested to see how much it is actually putting out.

thanx man appreciate the reply.

but as an update .. Went to the test and tune and maxed out at 140point sumthing this was with
Xiph0id's suggestion to move the box further back about 3-4 inches from the rear of my vehicle. Thanx man for all the help.
now according to termlab the loudest note in my car was 50hz all i can figure is when i tested my frequency i must have been wrong. but any input would be greatly appreciated. Since then i added angles to the inside of my box in the places you reccommended Xiph0id with the aid of cardboard templates and fiberglass matt and resin, and i also did that port thing but i also cut down the length of my port dramatically which i shouldn't have done at the same time cause i lost big time so i'll have to rebuild the port and see what happens from there. so should i be tunning my box with 50hz in mind as my res frequency or should i go back to the drawing board and find out what the hell is going on any help would be greatly apprciated thanx guys. I know my sub can be way louder than what it is now so any ideas etc or as a last resort box designs would help.
Alright here we go.

Now that 50hz could be 2 things, box peaking at that frequency or your car loudest at that frequency. Or a combination of the 2.

You need to find out at what frequency the sub will be loudest in your car. Not what frequency the car peaks at.

This is why the best way to test is to start with a long port tuned low and keep raising the tunning till it peaks. Trial and error is your friend.

Now you say the port chopping lost? Did you test it on a mic?

One thing to remember, always test 1 thing at a time.

How do you know what gained or lost db?

Do you have access to a mic? It might take longer but testing 1 thing at a time is one of the most important things.

Whenever you are burping do it exactly the same each time.

Battery charger off, gains and settings all the same, seat in exactly the same positions, visors at the same spots.

Get a clipboard and write this stuff down.

***Example. In a car we did some testing in, originaly we tested with the drivers seat leaned all the way back. We Gained .1 EVERY time when the seat was 3 "clicks" up from being down.

Even speaker wires will screw up your testing if they get in the way, eliminate as many variables as possible.

Hope this helps.
