You guys wanna know how to get more people to these shows? Get some hot girls involved with these shows. Once the girls are there, the guys will show up.
I'll put money on that!

Get a shirt gun and launch free stuff at the crowd. Setup loud demo cars and let me play with the stereo.

The first show my brother and I went to we went up against Clay in Street A and he beat us by over 10 db and this was before he gained another 2-3 db that year. Instead of saying **** it and quitting we both started buying a bit more gear, testing a bit more and have a lot more fun now that we are doing better numbers, have a lot more knowledge and about 12-15 new friends. If someone could pin point the final answer to this question every organization would be back to where they were once upon a time.

and hes also the type of guy that would come and talk to you and give you tips about how to get louder hes a good guy holds alot of big shows each year

Here's a suggestion on bringing the excitement back into SPL, tell me what you think on whether the idea may get the ball rolling or open a new avenue. How about talking with the popular car audio shops and have a bulletin somewhere in the stores to advertise for upcoming events, test and tunes, get togethers etc etc maybe between the store and their customers that come in, people can stir up excitement and get our sport where it has the ability to be. This would not be a costly idea that I can visualize, maybe we and mean us in the SPL world as a group are thinking of too complexed ideas of what to do or what not to do .................. Yuli how do you feel about this? .............. great post by the way !!!!!!

how about someone make a document concerning this, have it written "to" who ever

like big company like audio 2001 / future shop / best buy

we present it Representing Canadian car audio club
and have them all think it over and make events for their own purpose of demonstrating their car product at the same time, using our own to bring in a crowed for them

it would have to be a car audio related company as future shop and best buy will just throw out any sound off related proposal
