some people just dont compete.. they like loud music and enjoy the show but never have the desire to compete... does everyone with a fast car race? i just dont think its a good starting attitude when aiming to achieve a common goal.. should all be pointing towards the same thing rather than starting out with labelling and seperating "these people and those people"

i totally understand that the guys putting on the shows need help to cover their costs.. i love hanging out with dale, known him a long time and would do anything to help... doesnt always mean i can.. i just dont agree with that label as mentioned.. i being one of those people find it offensive..

heres a reason i dont always compete.. lets say im there and i compete and blow my subs and/or amp.. you think when i walk over and tell the ole lady whose holding my kid that i now have to replace them shes gonna say "go for it!" or is she going to say "youre an idiot, you have other to pay for first"

she will say the second one.. so i would then be driving around with no subs and/or amp.. that would suck.. thats reason enough for me not to compete.. am i the type of person whos making this sport die?

Its fine to come and hang out but the bottom line is that we need competitors. No competitors means no show for you to come and hang out at.

it sad. but still yall should go just for the heck of it and just play some tune like back in montreal every thurday is free car show day, everyone goes to this parking lot aka the Orange julep! and they show off from low rider to HIGH END imports like skyline n supras
to the major sound system guys to even sport bikes

but i do get, "going to a show and having your equipment blow" kinda blow indeed...

but as the saying say's if you own a Ferrari , make sure your able to buy 2 b4 u buy 1

i think i big target should be the big box stores like mentioned.. i dont know if there are many guys in southern alberta but when im at home on days off i can try to go ruffle some feathers at the local shops around here.. see if we cant bring in some interest. we had a similar problem in bc with offroading/mudbogging, demolition derbys... (dont see alot of that in the city haha) but we did the same thing.. now its our group of friends that run all the big shows for the big festival weekends..
