So apparently the 6x9s I have right now are not blown.

The heat from the sun on my rear deck had melted some glue on the speaker grille which held a decorative metal bar in place, and it fell off onto the cone, and the noise I heard was just it bouncing around. They work fine now that the grills are off.

Wasn't expecting that...
