Preliminary Draft - Major Rules Changes 2004
#24
i think the power limits are stupid. first off all the number of amps is already limited in street, second we have to turn the cars off which limits the availabe current....so why now try to limit the power?? DbDrag used to have power limits in street class a while back and there was a good reason why they got rid of it, so why bring it back??? only going to create the same problem as it did back then.

Wayne is talking about testing amplifiers in real world situations.voltage,load,output.i think it will work ....i just wonder what is planned in the way of battery size limitations??
the rules will be closer to last years, just give it a few weeks.

i guess all for the better, i will just now have to build for a different class. its good to have this happen now, just so our competionless days can be fullfilled with thoughts of a new setup

In the second draft released today on termpro, the seating and voltage requirements were listed, in street you must have seating for at least 4. In vehicles with multi row seating the first and second row must remain in the vehicles, all others can be removed.
As far as the voltage goes it was increased to 14v, i like this much more than 13v
