FYI..

3-8c Seats may be folded for competition, but may not be removed from the vehicle unless they were originally designed as a consumer removable component. Competitors who fold their seats must be able to demonstrate that the installation of the sound system does not interfere with the normal operation of the seats that were folded.

not bitching or complaining.. just letting ya know

guess the new rules will be more clear and will prevent mixups like that, i understood the rules incorrectly i guess
why would the rules need to be more clear?? it says it right in the rule book to keep the box off the seats so they can be moved back up.

If i could do that i'd be doing 153's on the new meter.

see now to me it doesnt interfere with the normal operation of the seats, i push the box back the 8-10 inches and the seats fold upright good as new, i took that rule to mean i couldnt say permanently fix my box in the position. i was wrong, however as i said, no one running the comps ever told me that was a no no, only thing i was ever told was by ray and that was while trying to angle the box more towards the rear window when the corner of the box came up above the window line, at which point i adjusted it back down below the window no problems,

like i said, i obviously misunderstood the rule, oh well the shows are done, ill know for the future.

these obviously werent 2-3x events, same with the fact that ive never seen anyone have to shut their car off in the lanes which apparently is a rule aswell, only no reving past 2000rpm apparently somethings are let go for singles

as i said, oh well seasons over
