you should take it up on a roof of the tallest building in Ottawa and toss it down, see if it glows while air born.

what i personally think is the dude that makes/sells these amps has totally killed the product's credibility. After reading many of his replies I, to be honest, do not really care to see any test of this amp anymore. But that's just what i think.

Let's think, what is the point of YET another test of this amp? Is someone that insecure in their product? It's only a 1500 watt amp, who really cares if it makes that or not? All the kids around the block seem to love this amp, let's just leave it at that.

And this is why you were not the one testing, I don't know why all of a sudden you are being this way. But does not really matter. Thanks for the support man. And BTW if you think this is good advertising your wrong man. This is also the reason I would never compete in the SPL scene ever again. Because its the serious competitor like yourselves that is suppose to help the scene. And be a face that people can trust and turn to for help and information to make the sport better. Yet people do not want to compete in fear of poor numbers or ridicule about equipment they use and so on. This is one of the reasons why the SPL scene is tanking. If its not the best handful of companies then it has to be I guess.

In defense of Prolifik, he was probably a bottom feeder in spl at one point too, with someone ragging on him for using shitty equipment or bad setups. He is simply saying that the Sundown 1500d is overpriced, and way overrated, because it is.

Wow, well I didn't realize the amount of hate for these amps. Interesting. Over priced, negative at around $585cdn I think that is fair even with an MSRP of $749cdn it still a good deal. When you consider a JL or RF or Apline 1000Watt amp is over $1000cdn. And over rated I do not believe so. And I love how people come out of the wood work to slam products they have never used.

Like it or not, Yuli made some very good points. No matter what Jordy does, chances are good that someone will be bum-hurt over the results. Be it you/Jacob, or the guys who don't look favourably at Sundown. And like Yuli, I'm sure a few of us are rather sick and tired of seeing this argument continue, and no longer really don't care what the end result might be. To be honest, every response I read makes me happier that I still possess my 150.1s, even if I do need way more power.
I guess there is such thing as negative marketing....

To be honest maybe your right. And yes Yuli does have a few good points. Maybe I am just over sensitive to the gear I sell. Look bottom line if Jordy's tests prove to be low as The west coast says then I will publicly say sorry and appoligize for the countless threads about this. I am really worn out defending brands that claim numbers. When I looked at Sundown once upon a time and saw the numbers from the US guys testing I did not question as I guess I am naive (Spelling) or just trusting. When I came to CCA I thought people would want to see new brands on the scene and I guess I am starting to realize its not the case. So to anyone that I offended I appoligize. And if the numbers come back low then I guess I eat crow and have learned a lesson. I do not want to fight anymore about this and will not defend anymore. The numbers will not lie.
