4 ohm Home audio speakers in car ???
#51
I have no idea what I will do with them yet. I really want to get these in a 2way setup, possibly with vifas xt series tweeters. If I only had another car... I will find somewhere to put them eventually. Possibly even make some bookshelf speakers. Until then these guys are on vacation. I am going to test them tomorrow and pack them away safely.
As for the mids and tweets...
Mids:
Tang Band W4-1798S 4" Neodymium Midrange Driver | Parts-Express.com
Tweeters:
Dayton RS28F-4 1-1/8" Silk Dome Tweeter | Parts-Express.com
So tomorrow I am going out to get some odds and ends... Then I start the install!

No reviews yet... I am literally about to start fiber glassing my door pods. I will have Pics and an overview of everything in a couple of days... hopefully.
I probably should of said this earlier: I have been waiting for warmer weather to start my door pods (cause I didn't want to do them in my house). So i finally caved and made the skeletons yesterday in a makeshift work space.
When I get it all done I will post every last detail...

Sry for the wait guys, I was praying for some warmth and I got it on monday! long story short I am going to be putting the door pods in tonight and tomorrow I start fiddling with it! I am stoked to be back on track with this and I will be spending all my spare time in my car. so I should have my verdict for u guys in a day or two. I will post my pics of the door pods tomorrow aswell, I went in a pretty original direction with them. not sure if it's a good thing yet, but we will see!

Hey guys, working on the write up for this project. So many details, I don't want to leave anything out. But for the sake of getting some feedback out there now...
- The System is really versatile, thanks to the cross over, external EQ and my head units DSP. Almost too much tweak-ability, my cross-over in my truck so tuning is a bit of a marathon.
- The TB mini subs I am using for mid bass are ridiculous, I love them.
- The tweeters and mids do exactly what they are supposed to.
Overall I just keep tuning until it sounds good, then I start from scratch until it sounds good again. It seems every time I start over it sounds diff. and usually for the better.
As it stands right now, all I can say is this system is a lot more capable than I could of ever imagined a cars stereo. Sounds Really sick!
